Welcome!

Welcome to the Cornish group! We study ultracold atoms and molecules at Durham University in the Quantum Light and Matter Section of the Physics Department

We use laser cooling to create samples of gases at micro-kelvin temperatures, which we then associate into molecules through control over the inter-atomic state via magnetic fields, lasers and microwaves.
